tweet wars: breitbart vs. boehlert

The ACORN tapes battle continues: now in robot theater style (h/t ‘Red Eye,’ @greggutfeld) Eric Boehlert and his minions continuously poke the bear, Andrew Breitbart, in regards to the now infamous ACORN tapes. He is willing to release the full, unedited tapes in a screening with “his detractors and full Q & A.” However, they never seem to take Andrew up on his offer. Hmmm…

These tapes show James O’Keefe and Hannah Giles in ACORN offices telling the staff that they would like to set up a house of prostitution, have plans on bringing underage girls from El Salvador to work as prostitutes and that the money made would be funneled to be used to fund James’ eventual foray into politics. ACORN staff appear to be most eager to help these enterprising young people in spite of the proposed illegal activities. Could this be why Andrew’s offer has yet to be accepted?

Here is an excerpt of tweets taken directly from the Twitter streams of @andrewbreitbart and @ericboehlert.

UPDATE (3/1/10): No, the idea of using Xtranormal.com to do “robot theater” isn’t original as ‘Red Eye’ and Greg Gutfeld have been doing it so brilliantly for quite awhile. However, to distinguish the ones that appear on this site are 1) different “character” sets are used and 2) the 95% of the script is taken directly from Twitter streams – even coarse language remains. Only the placement of names to make identification easier may have been altered.

acorn defunded? think again…

So you cheered when you heard that Congress defunded ACORN, eh? Not so quick, friend. Congresswoman Michele Bachmann just opened some eyes and ears this morning when she was on “The Chris Baker Show” on KTLK FM radio when she said that Congress defunded ACORN but only in a CYA manner. Sure they are defunded but, they are ONLY DEFUNDED FOR THE MONTH OF OCTOBER! The money will start flowing to ACORN again at midnight of Halloween – all in all pretty scary.

Need proof? Look no further: http://www.ktlkfm.com/pages/acorn.html and http://www.gop.gov/bill/111/1/hr2918conferencereport

When I first heard the discussion on-air, I thought I was hearing things. Then KTLK posted it as a “Breaking” story on the their website, then posted the audio of the discussion plus the link to the conference report.

Say, doesn’t the President have to sign it into law anyway? Would he do it considering his close ties or would he wait it out til it dies on its own accord? Wait, don’t answer that – we probably already know the answer.

We need to take some action if we want to see some results that are more than temporary. ACORN *may* have swung the senatorial election here in Minnesota to the Democrats benefit and if so, it’s becoming personal. Senator Franken?! Come on…

“soros”-ful

ACORN, SEIU, Van Jones, Cass Sunstein, etc., etc… President Obama has told us to look at who he surrounds himself with in regards to those who help shape his opinions and help him lead our country. When you actually look, the view is startling at best.

Glenn Beck, conservative commentator, has been “connecting the dots” and asking the country to “see the big picture” where the President is concerned. He has been making the connections between our president and ACORN, SEIU, Van Jones (former “green jobs czar”), Cass Sunstein, the Weather Underground and its founders, and more to come I’m sure. These people and groups have the implosion of the United States economy as their goal – get as many people onto the governmental gravy train to the point it breaks under its own weight. This is scary stuff. However, where are the roots of this tree? Continue reading »
