Yesterday, August 12, we celebrated “Cost of Government Day.” This is where we start earning for ourselves and not the government. That equates to 4½ months pay for us to pay bills and live on for the entire year. Hmm…4½ months out of 12 really bites. When you do the math (4.5/12*100) to get the percent that we keep it is 37.5%. It’s like getting only 37.5% of the air we breathe — you might get enough stay alive but it’s a struggle…
